Message some come from further north than you and I. Others will be joining along the way. Your times assume ~60 mph non stop. I'm planning on a 2-3 stops per day, so that others can join the caravan at places along the way. We'll also need to get gas and food.
From the 80-95 interchange, it's a good 4 hours to the DC-NoVA area. I figure if people meet there at about 4ish, most can get to the office on Friday morning, put in a half day of work and hit the road. We arrive, there meet the locals for dinner, and head out in the AM, and continue on.
But if, the consensus is that my current plan is too leisurely, I'm up for revisions.
